Paige's 1 year stats...

Paige had her 12 month check-up at almost 13 months. She was quite the charmer for the pediatrician -- gave her lots of smiles and even said a couple words for her in the office.

Paige measured 32 inches (which is off the charts) and weighed 25 lbs. 13 oz. (which is in the 95th percentile). Our busy little girl spends her days running through the house and loves to hear her own voice. Her vocabulary consists of lots of different "words", but the words that we understand are dada, mama, hi, bye, baby, ball, and NO!

Here is Paige a couple of days before her appointment -- we had to go into the lab to have her blood drawn. She was such a good girl -- she only cried when the tech took the needle out of her arm and even then it was just a little cry with a single tear down her cheek. She is proudly wearing her bandage at home...Walking out of the clinic after her appointment AND her 1 year immunizations. Note the pacifier...let's just say that the shots did NOT go as well as the bloodwork. Her screams echoed through the halls of the clinic -- we ran out of there as soon as we could!Here is a peek at some of Paige's 1 year pictures. We had them taken while we were in Lancaster, and this rocking chair was from Brian's Grandfather Collins (Pop-pop) when he was a little one. Paige loved sitting it -- it worked out perfectly for her pictures and made them even more special! Although she did pose nicely for a couple of pictures, this shot was actually a better representation of our photo shoot. She was a little feisty and enjoyed running away from the photographer and down the hall of the studio...

12 months old and she can already spell her name...

This is Kristen's dress and it was close, but Paige was able to fit into it. All the Swanson girls had their 1 year photos taken in this dress. Fortunately, our off-the-growth-charts Paige was able to carry on the tradition!
