Christmas Part 1

We were so excited that Brian's parents made the trek out from PA to visit for 6 days. With the help of United Airlines, they narrowly escaped the snowy deluge that innundated the East Coast Seaboard. Paige immediately warmed up to Mom-Mom and Pop-Pop...even though she referred to both of them as "Pa-Pa".

We celebrated Christmas Part 1 a little early. Paige had no trouble jumping right in. She not only opened her gifts, but enjoyed lending assistance to others!



Paige was proud of her gifts to Mom Mom and Pop Pop...appropriately labeled.

She also really enjoyed her gift from Mom Mom and Pop Pop...a tricycle just her size. She hasn't quite mastered the pedals, so she just retracts her feet and enjoys the ride.

The five of us visited Santa at the local mall. "Bah Humbug" was Paige's theme that day... She really did not know what to think of Jolly Old Saint Nick. Despite a lot of coaxing, the best we could get was a somber countenance for the picture.

All in all, we had nearly a week filled with fun. It was a great time for Paige to bond with Mom Mom and Pop Pop. We hit the local park and even make a trek out to the Sierras to have a smashing brunch at a small diner.
